Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of the OKPing network monitoring service.
Last updated: August 29, 2026
1. Description of the Service
OKPing is a network monitoring and data analytics service that provides scheduled multi-node monitoring, monitoring data analysis, and email alerts.
Depending on your account and subscription plan, you may configure monitoring targets and collect network performance data from multiple monitoring nodes.
We may modify, add, remove, or update features of the Service as the product evolves.
2. Accounts
Some OKPing features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, you should contact us promptly.
3. Monitoring Services
OKPing uses multiple monitoring nodes to perform scheduled monitoring tasks according to your configuration. Monitoring results may include:
- Network connectivity status
- Response times
- Request success or failure status
- Results from different monitoring nodes
- Historical monitoring and statistical data
Because Internet connectivity, network operators, destination servers, DNS services, routing, and other third-party infrastructure can be unpredictable, OKPing does not guarantee that monitoring results will always be accurate, complete, or real-time.
4. Alerts
When you configure alert rules, OKPing may send email notifications when monitoring results meet the conditions you specify.
Alert delivery depends on network connectivity, email providers, and other third-party services. We therefore cannot guarantee that every alert will be delivered successfully, immediately, or accurately.
You should not rely on OKPing alerts as the sole mechanism for emergency response, security protection, or life-safety systems.
5. Monitoring Data and Analytics
OKPing stores monitoring data generated through the Service to provide historical records, statistics, trend analysis, and monitoring reports.
You may use the features provided by the Service to view and analyze data associated with your monitoring tasks.
Where permitted by applicable law, we may use anonymized or aggregated data for service operation, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and product improvement.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not use OKPing to:
- Conduct illegal or unauthorized network activities;
- Perform unauthorized scanning, attacks, or stress testing against third-party systems;
- Generate excessive malicious traffic or consume network resources improperly;
- Circumvent access controls, usage limits, or security mechanisms;
- Interfere with or attempt unauthorized access to OKPing infrastructure;
- Distribute malware, spam, or other unlawful content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate authorization to monitor any target or system you configure within OKPing.
7. Service Availability
We will use reasonable efforts to keep OKPing available, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, continuously available, or completely error-free.
The Service may become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, network failures, infrastructure failures, third-party service failures, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Changes and Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Service when reasonably necessary for technical, operational, or business reasons.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account or access to the Service if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner that creates risks to the Service, other users, or third parties.
9. Intellectual Property
The OKPing website, software, user interface, trademarks, logos, documentation, technology, and related content are owned by OKPing or the applicable rights holders.
Except as expressly permitted by law or authorized by us in writing, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or otherwise exploit these materials.
10. Disclaimer
OKPing provides network monitoring and analytics tools and does not guarantee that all network failures, service outages, or security incidents will be detected.
Monitoring results and analytics are provided for informational purposes. You should independently evaluate the results before making decisions that could result in significant loss.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OKPing will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including business interruption, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in ourPrivacy Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary due to changes in the Service, legal requirements, or business operations.
Updated Terms will be published on this page. Your continued use of OKPing after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
