Refund Policy

Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to OKPing subscription services, including scheduled multi-node monitoring, monitoring analytics, and email alerts.

Last updated: August 29, 2026

1. Subscription Services

OKPing provides network monitoring services through subscription plans. Each plan includes different limits for Agents and monitoring targets.

After purchasing a plan, users may add Agents, configure monitoring targets, and use monitoring analytics, historical data, and email alert features within the limits of their plan.

Because subscription services are continuously delivered digital services, refund eligibility may depend on actual account usage.

2. 14-Day Refund Request Period

To allow users to evaluate OKPing, we provide a14-day refund request periodfor eligible purchases.

Users may request a refund within 14 days of the initial purchase of a subscription plan. Refund requests will be reviewed based on actual account usage.

This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.

3. Refunds for Limited Usage

If a user has only lightly tested the service and has not significantly consumed monitoring resources, we will generally consider a full refund.

Examples include:

  • Only creating a small number of Agents;
  • Only configuring a small number of monitoring targets;
  • Using the monitoring service for a short period;
  • Generating only a limited amount of historical data;
  • Not significantly consuming system resources.

Final eligibility will be determined based on actual account usage.

4. Refunds After Significant Usage

If a user has significantly used the resources included in the subscription, such as creating many Agents, configuring many monitoring targets, running monitoring tasks continuously, or generating substantial monitoring data, a full refund may not be available.

In such cases, we may provide a partial refund based on the remaining subscription period and actual usage.

If the service has been substantially used, we may also decline a refund request while allowing the user to continue using the service until the end of the current billing period.

5. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time to prevent future renewal charges.

After cancellation, the subscription will normally remain active until the end of the current billing period.

If the service has already been used, cancellation alone does not normally result in a refund for the unused days of the current billing period.

6. Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscriptions, refund requests made within 14 days of the initial purchase will be reviewed based on actual usage.

After the 14-day period, partial refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances based on the remaining subscription period and actual usage.

Partial refunds may be calculated based on the remaining subscription period after accounting for the value of services already used.

7. Technical Problems

If a persistent and material technical issue prevents the user from accessing core features included in the purchased plan, the user may contact us to request a refund.

We will generally attempt to resolve the issue before processing a refund.

If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved, we may provide a partial or full refund depending on the severity and duration of the problem and the remaining subscription period.

8. Material Difference from the Purchased Service

If the service materially differs from the core features explicitly described at the time of purchase, users may contact us to request a refund.

We will review such requests according to the specific circumstances and applicable law.

9. Upgrades and Downgrades

Users may upgrade or downgrade their subscription plan based on their needs.

When upgrading, additional charges may be calculated based on the remaining portion of the current billing period.

Downgrades will normally take effect at the end of the current billing period to avoid unexpectedly reducing Agent and monitoring target limits.

If the downgraded plan cannot accommodate the user's existing Agents or monitoring targets, the user may need to adjust the configuration before the downgrade takes effect.

10. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be provided when:

  • The user has significantly used the Agent or monitoring target limits included in the plan;
  • The user has extensively used monitoring, analytics, or alerting services;
  • The issue is caused by the user's own network, device, email configuration, or third-party services;
  • The account was restricted or terminated because of a violation of the Terms of Service;
  • The user has engaged in refund abuse or repeated fraudulent refund requests;
  • The purchased service has already been substantially consumed and there is no product defect or other valid refund reason.

These restrictions do not limit mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

11. Duplicate Charges

If a technical or payment processing issue results in duplicate charges for the same subscription, users may contact us for verification.

Confirmed duplicate charges will be refunded as appropriate.

12. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us through the support channel provided on the OKPing website.

A refund request should preferably include:

  • Account email address;
  • Subscription plan;
  • Order or transaction information;
  • Reason for the refund request;
  • Details of any technical or service issue.

We may review account information, subscription records, and actual service usage when evaluating the request.

13. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved, it will normally be processed using the original payment method.

The actual time required for the funds to appear depends on the payment provider, bank, or card issuer.

If the payment was processed through a third-party payment provider such as Paddle, the refund may be handled according to that provider's refund process.

14. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer protection, withdrawal, cancellation, or refund rights provided by applicable law.

Where applicable law provides greater refund or cancellation rights, those rights will apply.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy as our services, products, payment methods, or legal requirements change.

Updated versions will be published on this page. Unless otherwise required by law, transactions will generally be governed by the Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase.
